Although Jet Airways is providing its service normally as over 500 pilots has returned to their work. The airlines flights were affected as over 500 pilots were on strike. The jet airways pilots went on a leave in response to that the airline suspended a few pilots. The suspension of these pilots made them more united regarding their demands to the airline.

According to Jet Airways officials, the airline has suffered a loss of around 200 crore in a strike by the Jet Airways Pilots. The airline which was performing its operations to almost all famous destinations in all over the world by carrying 24,000 domestic and international passengers daily.

The air passengers were facing a big hurdle due to strike by jet pilots. Almost all flights were canceled during these five days. Jet Airways did an effort and tried to transfer the passengers to other airlines but succeeded in transferring nearly 60 percent of the passengers. The airline transferred a small number to its sister airline JetLite.

The situation became worst for the remaining 40 % passengers who had to pay more to the other airlines as the airlines had increased the prices of airline tickets. The increased price of airline tickets really helped to increase the profit of other airlines.
